Striker Emile Sinclair joins Northampton Town

Northampton Town have signed Crawley Town striker Emile Sinclair on loan to the end of the season, with a view to a permanent 2 year contract for an undisclosed fee, subject to Football League confirmation.

The 6ft tall 26 year old forward joined Crawley from Peterborough United for £100,000 in August 2013.

He started his career in Bradford City’s youth academy before joining the youth set-up at Nottingham Forest. Emile joined Macclesfield on a permanent basis in May 2009 and the following season he scored seven goals in 42 games. Peterborough paid an undisclosed fee for Emile in August 2011 and in 27 starts for Posh he has scored 13 goals in the Championship.

In the 2012-13 season he had loan spells with Championship clubs Barnsley and Doncaster Rovers.

He scored 4 times in 12 starts and 7 substitute appearances for Crawley so far this season.
