The views of the Cobblers caretaker boss on Northampton Town v Chesterfield, 25 January 2014
Cobblers caretaker manager Andy King reflecting on the home defeat to Chesterfield.
“We’re all disappointed because the position we are in we need to win football matches,” he said.
“The conditions were poor but I thought we competed very well at times and belied our position.
“The players know the position we are in and the importance to the club and I believe there is enough quality in the dressing room to get the club out of this position.
“There was passion and desire but we just lacked in certain areas.
“The players have got to find some confidence and the way to find that is by putting together a run of four or five games.”
