Boss Chris Wilder previews this Saturday’s Sky Bet League 2 clash against Hartlepool United, the first of three home games in a week for the Cobblers.

“We know it’s a big period for us and the bottom line is that we have to go and win some games,” he said.

“This is a big week for us but it’s a chance for us to really put a marker down and pick up a chunk of points.

“Hartlepool are a youthful side and they are going well but I think we have got enough quality about us now to win the game.

“We showed at Fleetwood that we can compete we just may be need to have a bit more quality in the final third.

“We need to be better in both boxes and when we are on top in games we need to capitalise on that.”
