WILDER ON PLYMOUTH LOSS

8 February 2014

The views of the Cobblers boss on Northampton Town v Plymouth Argyle, 8 February 2014

Chris Wilder was disappointed as he reflected on the 2-0 home defeat to Plymouth.

“We conceded two really poor goals and we’ve got to do better defensively," he said.

“There were some decent aspects of the game but we gave ourselves a mountain to climb in the second half.

“The conditions were difficult but the second goal gave them a lift and it really did make things hard for us in the second half.

“There are no shirkers in the dressing room and the effort is there but we have to work really hard and intensively to bed down the way I want us to play.

“We have to quickly move on from this as a group and we have to go to Torquay positive and have the belief that it will be our night.”
