The views of the Cobblers boss
Chris Wilder reflecting on Tuesday night’s 2-1 win over Southend United.
“It’s another valuable three points,” he said.
“It was a tight game against a very good side, we changed our shape a bit in the second half and I think the two changes we made helped us get a bit more control of the game.
“It was another great effort by the players, both sides were fully committed, Southend are a decent side and I thought we looked a decent side tonight too.
“We played with real commitment and drive and I thought Emile Sinclair typified that. He showed a real desire to lead us from the front and he will only get better.”
