Cobblers boss ahead of Northampton Town v Plymouth Argyle, 8 February 2014
Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is calling for the fans to turn out in force for the visit of Plymouth Argyle to Sixfields on Saturday.
“We are going to go on the front foot on Saturday and go for a win, hopefully the supporters will get right behind us and give us the push to get the three points,” he said.
“It’s always difficult for a manager to ask the fans for that support after all the difficulties this season but now is the time for everybody to come together and we need the supporters to play their part.
“The players need to show what they can do and get the crowd going and hopefully the supporters will be encouraged by what they see on Saturday.
“We want the supporters here now and it’s up to us to show them what we are about.
“Our home form is going to be vital and we need to go and win some games and get on a run.
“We can’t wait until March and April for that to happen, we need things to happen here and now.”
