NO FRESH INJURY CONCERNS

14 February 2014

All the news ahead of Fleetwood Town v Northampton Town

The Cobblers have no fresh injury concerns ahead of this Saturday’s trip to Fleetwood but Lee Collins (foot) is again unlikely to feature.

“We’ve got a couple of knocks and bruises from Tuesday night which you’d expect from a full blooded game but nothing too serious,” confirmed boss Chris Wilder.

“Brennan Dickenson has got a tight hamstring and Joe Widdowson got a wack on his foot but they should both be okay.

“Lee is struggling for Saturday and we are still assessing the extent of his injury. Lee has been fantastic since I arrived, both on and off the pitch, and losing him is a big blow but for however long he’s out for we will just have to deal with it.

“Gregor Robertson came in and did well on Tuesday night and everyone is going to play their part between now and the end of the season.

“I won’t be afraid to change a winning team and it’s going to be a group effort.

“I will utilise the group from here on in, the lads who aren’t playing at the moment will have a part to play and they have to be focused and they have to be ready for when they are called upon.”
