Important information ahead of Northampton Town v Plymouth Argyle
On Saturday, Northampton Saints are at home with a 3.15pm kick off and we play Plymouth Argyle at Sixfields with a 3pm kick off.
Both clubs have and will continue to work together to keep fixture clashes to an absolute minimum, but on this occasion, with the Saints on TV and visiting supporters to Sixfields facing a long coach journey, a change of kick off time or a Friday night fixture was not possible at either venue. Nor was a Sunday, with a replay date on Tuesday still possible when tickets went on sale.
We would ask supporters to bear in mind traffic will be heavy. While plans are in place to keep delays down to a minimum, journeys to and from the game will take longer than usual. With this being the penultimate Saturday before Christmas there will also be increased shopping traffic and, as fans attempt to leave, increased traffic arriving to use the bars, restaurants and cinema at Sixfields.
The Saints traffic management plan will be in operation on the south end of Sixfields.
If you are parked in the south gravel car park, upon leaving you can either turn left or head straight up the Sixfields spine road.
If you are parked in the south disabled car park, upon leaving you must turn right.
If you are parked in the VIP car park, you can turn left but we would recommend you turn right and head straight up the Sixfields spine road.
To help us keep delays to a minimum please car share where possible, park in the official club car parks and allow longer for travelling to and from the game.
