NORTHAMPTON TOWN RECALL JOHN-JOE O'TOOLE FROM LOAN SPELL

24 December 2014

Midfielder returns to Sixfields

Northampton Town have recalled midfielder John-Joe O'Toole from his loan spell at Southend United.

The club activated the recall clause on Christmas Eve, meaning O'Toole will rejoin the Cobblers squad.

"We have a busy weekend coming up with two games in three days and of course Ollie Banks has gone back to Chesterfield," said boss Chris Wilder.

"We are entering a critical part of the season and I want to have as many options available as possible, so we have recalled John-Joe.

"John-Joe has spent a month at Southend and hopefully he will come back ready to kick on."
