IMPROVING CONSISTENCY IS PRIORITY FOR BOSS

5 December 2014

Chris Wilder says squad are working hard in the two week gap in fixtures

Chris Wilder says finding some consistency will be the main priority when the Cobblers return to action against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday December 13th.

"I get a little bit down because like everybody else I think we should be doing a little bit better than we are doing but I think everybody recognises that if you can get a consistency in terms of team selection that will help with results," he said.

"We really do need a bit of luck in terms of keeping players fit if we are going to kick on in the second half of the season and if we can do that then I'm sure results will improve.

“We will be working hard in these two weeks and we don’t want to waste any time.

“I don’t like the inconsistency of the team at the moment and we have got things that we need to work on.

“It’s the inconsistency that I’m not happy about but the only way to put that right is by getting some players back fit and working extremely hard out on the training pitch."
