Chris Wilder on Tranmere Rovers v Northampton Town
Cobblers boss Chris Wilder reflecting on Sunday’s game at Tranmere.
“I’m really disappointed with the result because we were well in the game for the majority of the game and again it comes down to key moments and missed opportunities,” he said.
“It’s another loss and at the moment we are a team at the wrong end of the league and the table doesn’t lie.
“I think some players are doing the max but there are some who aren’t and I’ve known that for quite a while.
“Results aren’t good enough, we’ve competed in the game today and played okay and created chances but the chances we’ve missed just sums us up at the moment.
“We have to dig in now and move on to the next game, I put myself under pressure and we are trying everything to turn things around.”
