The Cobblers boss ahead of Tranmere Rovers v Northampton Town
Cobblers boss Chris Wilder previews Sunday’s trip to Tranmere.
“There’s no getting away from the fact that this is a massive game for us but we have to believe that we can go there and get something,” he said.
“We have to dig in and stick together through this period but we need to turn the corner quickly.
“I’ve always come through these periods before, the spirit is there we just need to scrap a result from somewhere.
“The players have got to step up to the plate and with Ivan Toney out it’s a big opportunity for Emile Sinclair. He needs to do better and he needs to show why we brought him to the football club.
“We need to raise the spirits and we need to go to Tranmere and get a result to give ourselves a platform.
“It’s a quick turn around and we’ve still got six points to play for in the next few days.”
