Football League Youth Alliance Cup action
Northampton Town’s youth team were beaten 3-1 at MK Dons on Tuesday afternoon in the Football League Youth Alliance Cup.
“Milton Keynes are a strong side and sometimes you have to give credit to the opposition,” said under 18s coach Craig Hinton.
“We had quite an inexperienced group but again they will have learnt a lot and it was a much improved performance from the boys in the second half.”
Robbie Parsons scored the Cobblers goal.
