Darren Carter (hamstring) is set to miss Tuesday night’s trip to Portsmouth but Chris Hackett (Achilles) will be involved at Fratton Park.
“Darren’s hamstring is a bit tight but Chris will definitely come back into our thoughts,” said boss Chris Wilder.
“Darren trained full tilt on Thursday and Friday and maybe in hindsight we could have left him out on Saturday but we felt he was ready.
“We played a different formation on Saturday and it’s important that we are flexible in terms of formation and how we play both going into games and during games.
“We’ve got intelligent players who can handle playing different systems and in different styles but generally speaking we want to pass the ball and create chances.”
