Cobblers boss Chris Wilder previews Saturday’s Sixfields clash against Burton Albion.

“We showed everybody last Saturday that we are in there fighting and I believe that we can win enough of our games between now and the end of the season to keep us up,” he said.

“We have to make sure that we attack and approach every game on its merit and it’s important that we start on the front foot again on Saturday.

“Burton have deservedly been in and around the top of the league for the last two seasons and I don’t imagine that they will come here and sit back. A win is vital for both teams so hopefully it will be a decent game.

“It’s a game that we can win but we know that we are going to have to play well.

“The players have trained really well this week, probably the best they have trained since I’ve been here and the tempo and the energy in training has been excellent.

“Last Saturday was a good day for us and we were delighted that we got that performance and the win in front of a great travelling support.

“The fans backed us to the hilt from the moment we walked into the ground and hopefully they will get right behind us again on Saturday.”
