The views of the Cobblers boss
Cobblers boss Chris Wilder reflecting on Saturday's 1-0 win at Accrington Stanley.
"We had to find a way to get a result today and we did that," he said.
"I felt we had to get the first goal, it gave us a lift and it gave us something to hang onto and fight for.
"We put a lot of blocks in and we did what we had to do to get a result.
"We did our talking on the pitch today and all credit to the players.
"We are in the race and we've given ourselves a fighting chance.
"The fans were absolutely tremendous, they saw a committed performance and they played their part as well.
"The players fully deserved the result today but we need another big performance against Burton next week now.
"We will work hard again this week and then we need to go again on Saturday."
