Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team ended their 2013/14 Football League Youth Alliance campaign on Saturday when they welcomed Gillingham to Moulton College.
The game finished 1-1, Dodzi Agbenu scoring the Cobblers equaliser after the Gills had taken an early lead.
“The boys showed a good reaction after falling behind and in the end it was a game that we could have won,” said under 18s coach Craig Hinton.
“It was a game that lacked a bit of quality overall and we are now looking forward to the Dave Joyce cup final at Cogenhoe on Monday night.”
