All the team news ahead of Accrington Stanley v Northampton Town
The Cobblers will still be without Joe Widdowson (ankle) for this Saturday’s game at Accrington but Gregor Robertson should return to the squad after missing the game against Bury through illness.
“Joe is not making any sort of progress but we are hopeful on Gregor for the weekend,” said boss Chris Wilder.
“We had a reserve game at Watford on Tuesday for the players who didn’t play 90 minutes last Saturday and for the players who haven’t been involved.
“Kelvin Langmead played a part in that game which was great for him and great news for us.
“Alex Nicholls is back in light training and that is fantastic for the lad. Losing Alex was a big blow to the football club and an even bigger blow for Alex so we’re delighted for him.
“He is working hard and he’s just delighted to be seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.”
