Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town's youth team welcomed MK Dons to Moulton College on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance.
The Cobblers were beaten 2-1 with Connor Roberts on target for Craig Hinton's side.
"It was a good performance by a very young side," reflected Hinton.
"We were 2-0 down but the lads showed good fight to get it back to 2-1 and in the end we were probably unlucky not to come away with a draw."
