Cobblers boss and Head of Sports Science put youngsters through their paces

Blisworth and FFA, two local clubs who are big supporters of the Cobblers, came down to Sixfields on Tuesday evening for a very special prize.

They were two winners from last season's Stanair Cup, the half time penalty shoot out competition held at Sixfields at half time in Northampton Town home games. Part of their prize was a training session from Head of Sports Science Craig Smith and boss Aidy Boothroyd.

Blisworth, managed by Simon Curry, beat Moulton Magpies, Southcott Owls then Mawsley in the final.

FFA (Football For All) led by Delaney Fifield beat Flitwick, Parklands Tigers, Delapre Dragons and then Newton Longeville in the final.

Congratulations to both teams, and we hope you enjoyed your training session with Aidy and Craig!

There are a few places still left in this season's competition. Interested teams should please email
