All the news as the Shrimps head to Sixfields

Defender Matt Heath has been ruled out for around a month with the thigh strain he picked up in Saturday’s game at Mansfield.

“Matt will be out for three to four weeks,” confirmed boss Aidy Boothroyd.

“That is a blow and there is no doubt we have been unfortunate with injuries.

“Mathias Kouo-Doumbe has come in and he is a player with a lot of experience which is what we need right now.

“A lot of our players have got that experience and have played at a higher level and these are the times when you look for your leaders on the pitch.

“We have had injuries but that’s really irrelevant because it’s about results and that’s why we have got to do anything and everything we can to get a result against Morecambe.

“The quality and standard of play has improved but individual errors and doing the basics haven’t.

“Roy O’Donovan has been very professional since I left him out the team and I’m still convinced that he is going to get his 20 goals this season. Its up to him to get back into the team and if he maintains his current attitude then I’m sure he will.”
