Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team returned to action on Saturday with a trip to Colchester United in the Football League Youth Alliance.
The Cobblers won the game 4-2 with goals from Ivan Toney (2), Dodzi Agbenu and Merdy Maki.
“It was a good performance,” said under 18s coach Craig Hinton.
“Colchester are top of the league so to score four goals and get the win was very pleasing.”
