Make playing for Movember your goal
Goals Soccer Centre Northampton are holding their Movember annual event on Sunday 24th November (6pm Kick off) to raise money for men’s health charity. £40 per team with 50% being donated! And for the first year ever they hold their Veterans Movember Tournament which will be held on Friday 29th November (7pm Kick off)
Teams can have a maximum squad of 7 and 2 players within the squad need to have grown a Mo for the team to be eligible to play. But if you can’t quite manage a Mo they will have face painters there to give you that must have moustache!!
In the UK, 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer at some stage in their lives. Funds raised are directed to programmes, which are shaped by the Movember vision to have an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health. In 2012, Goals raised over £10,000 with over 2500 players competing and they are looking to increase this contribution in 2013 so sign up today and start growing your Mo!
