Cobblers go out of Football League Youth Alliance Cup
Northampton Town's youth team were beaten at Watford in the semi finals of the Football League Youth Alliance Cup on Tuesday afternoon.
The Cobblers went down 2-1 with Ivan Toney the man on target.
"We have had a good cup run and the boys can be pleased," said coach Craig Hinton.
"With some of the released players not involved, we had a young side out there and this would have been a fantastic experience for them.
"We go out with our heads held high."
