As the season approaches the home stretch, we are calling on all Cobblers supporters to get behind the players as we look to secure an automatic promotion spot.
It has certainly been an exciting season so far, and it promises to be even more so now with just 4 home games remaining. Sitting in 6th position, just 4 points away from an automatic promotion place and 5 points off second place, we are in a great position, particularly when you think that we have a game in hand on the teams in 2nd to 5th.
Your support so far this season has been fantastic, and we are looking to build on this even more. This Saturday, 23rd March, we have a huge derby game against play off chasing Oxford United. With our local rivals expected to bring in excess of 1,200 supporters, it is sure to be a great atmosphere and a cracking match.
The players would love to see the stadium packed out. This week we are running a Bring a Buddy initiative, whereby we are inviting all supporters to bring a friend, or a group of friends, along to the game to get behind our promotion hunt.
Season ticket holders are more than welcome to change their seat to accommodate bringing a friend, and all you have to do is contact the Box Office to get this sorted out. Tickets will be priced as normal for the game, but be sure to book yours soon as they are already selling fast!
Get behind our Bring a Buddy campaign on Twitter by tweeting us @ntfc using the hashtag #NTFCBringABuddy. A few fans have already got behind the idea which is great to see, and the more we can get involved, the better! We will be generating a big social media drive on this, so we want you to tweet us and send us messages on Facebook to really spread the word.
All the players who are on Twitter will be getting involved in this as well, so look out for their tweets on this and feel free to send them a tweet!
Let's see Sixfields as full as possible this weekend!
