Clean bill of health for Wycombe trip
Cobblers boss Aidy Boothroyd has no fresh injuries to contend with ahead of Saturday’s trip to Wycombe.
“The players are all in good spirits and everybody is fit and healthy,” he said.
“Ishmel Demontagnac was excellent on Tuesday night, his free-kick that hit the post will stick in the memory but for me the most important thing he did all night was when he chased back 70-yards to get a block in on Jack Redshaw after a counter-attack.
“Without doubt he has got the talent he just needs to find that consistency.
“I was really pleased with Joe Widdowson’s contribution and Roy had a real go up front on his own.
“Lee Nicholls looked very mature and solid and for a player of his age he looks very accomplished in goal.”
