Two-year contract extension for Ben
Ben Tozer has signed a new two year contract with Northampton Town, keeping him at Sixfields until June 2015.
The 23-year old initially joined the Cobblers on loan from Newcastle United back in September 2010 before signing on a permanent basis in summer 2011.
He has to date made 139 appearances for the club, scoring 7 goals.
“I’m delighted to get Ben re-signed,” said boss Aidy Boothroyd.
“Ben has been a big part of what we have achieved so far and he is invaluable to us.
“He is the right character, the right age and he is a player with a very bright future.
"He has a lot of experience under his belt, not too many 23 year olds have played as many games as he has and he is capable of playing in more than one position which is a huge attribute to have."
