Defender set for first pre-season run out
Aidy Boothroyd has confirmed that defender David Artell could get his first pre-season run out at Cogenhoe United on Tuesday evening (745pm kick off).
"Dave Artell could play against Cogenhoe but as for the other injured lads, Kelvin Langmead, Clive Platt and Chris Hackett I'm going to make sure that they are one hundred per cent before putting them back in," he said.
"I'm really pleased with where we are at the moment but we are still building and it is going to take a bit of time.
"We have got some new players to integrate into the side and there will be a few more to come in as well.
"This year I'm going to go with a small squad and for anyone that we sign they have got to be capable of being a first team player and having an influence on the first team."
Admission prices are adults £6 and seniors/juniors £3.
