All the team news ahead of Plymouth clash

The Cobblers will be without Joe Widdowson for the visit of Plymouth Argyle to Sixfields on Saturday.

Widdowson picked up his 10th yellow card of the season at Wimbledon on Tuesday night activating a two-game ban.

“Joe is unavailable through suspension,” confirmed boss Aidy Boothroyd.

“Joe has been absolutely outstanding and there is no doubt that he has been one of our best players this season but I’ve been really impressed with Lee Collins both as a player and as a person.

“Lee is hard as nails and we have just got to make sure that we look after him and keep him fit.

“Dave Artell has been training with  us this week and there is a good chance that he could be okay to be included in the squad for Saturday.

“Nana has been training this week as well with the youth team and he has been doing well.

“The biggest thing with Nana is just getting him playing again because he’s been out for so long and hopefully he will be back training with the first team next week.”
