Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town's youth team played their final game of 2013 when they travelled to Peterborough on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance.
Despite a goal from Kieran Fitzgerald the Cobblers were beaten 2-1 with Posh's winner coming against the run of play just two minutes from time.
"The lads did well and we're disappointed to lose the game late on," said under 18s coach Craig Hinton.
"On the balance of play we probably deserved at least a draw and it's always a bit of a sickener when you lose a game to a late goal."
