Cobblers boss Aidy Boothroyd is looking to keep the recent improvement going when Wycombe come to Sixfields on Saturday.

“We’ve had a good few weeks in the league and we need to keep that momentum building,” he said.

“I’ve been saying that December is a key month for us and a good Christmas will take us in to more recognisable territory.

“We are all pushing forward and we want to propel ourselves up, up and away.

“It was a good point at Bury but in the end we came away a bit disappointed it wasn’t all three.

“After we got through the first 15 minutes I thought we were the stronger team and created the better chances.

“This team is tough, it stands up and takes the criticism and then it comes back."
