The views of the Cobblers boss
Cobblers boss Aidy Boothroyd was encouraged by the performance of his side in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Bury.
"It's another draw away from home and it keeps our little run in the league going," he said.
"Bury had a real go at us in the first 15 minutes but after that we got ourselves together, I thought we limited Bury and we had the better chances and we were the stronger team.
"It was important that we bounced back today from last week and going a goal down was a real test of character but I thought we responded really well.
"We always put up a fight and at the end the players are disappointed to come away with just a point.
"We missed a penalty but these things tend to happen when you are in the position that we are at the moment and I can't fault the attitude and application of the players.
"We created chances and even in the last minute we were still pushing to win the game.
"We're in there fighting and although we've not got a win today the league has tightened up a little bit more and a result against Wycombe next week and things will look a bit brighter again."
