Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town's youth team visited Southend United on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance.The Cobblers were beaten 3-0, and Under 18s Coach Craig Hinton said his side had come up short on the day.
"It was a disappointing performance," he said.
"We didn't perform anywhere near the levels I know we are capable of and we will need to work hard on the training ground to improve all areas of our game ahead of our next match in two weeks."
