PLATT READY FOR BRADFORD

4 April 2013

Striker available for Bantams clash

Striker Clive Platt is “fit and ready to go” against Bradford on Saturday, confirmed Cobblers boss Aidy Boothroyd.

“Clive is fit and he’ll be ready for Bradford,” he said.

“I thought the team did really well in the second half at Cheltenham so I didn’t really see the need to bring him on.

“Providing that the rest of the team keep creating chances for the front players I’m convinced that we will score goals.

“Goalscorers tend to get goals in batches and Bayo certainly does. He is getting in good positions to score but not converting and if he wasn’t getting in those positions then I would be worried.

“Roy O’Donovan is playing really well and if he keeps doing what he has been doing then it is only a matter of time before he starts getting a lot of goals.”
