DONATION TO BREAST CANCER CHARITY

15 April 2013

Official partner benefits from club support

The FA Community Shield match is played each August and marks the official start of the football season.

The money raised by this game is distributed to a number of good causes.

As a member of the Football League our share of this money is £2,000, and we split those proceeds between three of our official charity partners.

One such partner, Crazy Hats Breast Cancer, were at the York City game and received their cheque from John Morris, Chairman of the club’s Charitable Foundation.

Two other partners, the Northamptonshire FA’s Swain Benevolent Fund and the Northampton Hope Centre, will receive their donations prior to kick off at the Barnet game.
