Club recruit new dance teacher

Northampton Town Football Club are happy to introduce a new member of staff to the club. Zoe Halsey is the club's first ever dance teacher, and is coming on board to set up a new dance department here at Sixfields.

The club are set to teach over 700 pupils in local primary schools this coming term, with each pupil being invited to come and perform the routines they've learnt at the Port Vale fixture on October 27th.

The Cobblers plan to set up a regular dance club and holiday courses for youngsters to learn routines they can perform at matches too.

Zoe comes to Northampton Town after completing her PGCE at the University of Bedfordshire and an undergraduate degree in Dance at De Montfort University. She has been dancing for 23 years, has had a range of dance teaching rolls in clubs and schools, and is qualified to teach a variety of dance styles, including Street Dance which will be the focus here at Sixfields.

Zoe said "I'm really excited to be here. I am looking forward to teaching dance for Northampton Town and getting children from various schools involved and enthused with the club and dance!"

You can contact Zoe by emailing, or can call to find out more from Joss on 01604 683704.
