Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team took on Leyton Orient at Moulton College on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance.
Despite goals from Yas Hussain and Claudio Dias Orient edged the game 3-2.
“It was a bit of a topsy turvy game,” reflected Head of Academy Trevor Gould.
“Leyton Orient started well and they were the better side for the first 20 minutes.
“For a period in the second half I thought we played really well and unfortunately we missed a penalty in the last five minutes which would have made it 3-3.”
