Team news for Fleetwood trip
Midfielder Luke Guttridge will come back into the Cobblers squad for Saturdays’ trip to Fleetwood but defender John Johnson (shin) remains an injury concern.“John will have a fitness test on Thursday,” confirmed boss Aidy Boothroyd.
“Luke has recovered from his sickness and comes back into the squad.
“Shane Higgs is making really good progress and he played 45 minutes in a practice match on Wednesday.
“Nana is probably about five weeks away but other than that we have got a clean bill of health.
“I think we have got a very strong squad, it’s still tight but we’ve got good competition for places which is healthy.
“I think all the lads that have come in on loan have done very well and they have certainly improved the team and the squad.”
