Cobblers to help test web site feature

This weekend, the Football League would like your feedback.

In our work to introduce new features and to help improve the official web site, we have agreed to be one of four clubs testing a new matchday console that the Football League are looking to roll out across the network of official web sites in the next few weeks.

But, before they do, they want Cobblers fans to help tell them whether it delivers what supporters would expect from such a service, does it work and is it useful.

Over the last few weeks, the Football League been working hard on approving the Match Day Centre (MDC), which provides live match data on the homepage of the official web site on matchdays. The MDC has been tested extensively over the last few weeks and this Saturday the Football League will be trialling an initial launch on FOUR clubs: Notts County, Northampton Town, Scunthorpe United and Yeovil Town.

The MDC will be in action from 30 minutes before kick-off on the ntfc.co.uk homepage.

The Press Association, Sapient and Football League Interactive hope they have generated an informative, interactive and exciting MDC butthey would love to hear your feedback. Supporters should please email mdctrial.noreply@gmail.com with their comments.

SITE OUTAGE
The official web site will be down between the hours of 0200-0600 BST on Sunday morning (23/9) so that Football League Interactive may deploy a core piece of functionality that will enable them to roll out the new mobile web sites, which will begin towards the end of next week. Unfortunately it is not possible to deploy the code update without bringing down the official site for a few hours so they have chosen to do this at a time that will hopefully have minimal impact. Normal service should resume at 0600 on Sunday.
