Cobblers welcomed Robins to Northampton
The Sunday before last at Goals in Northampton, Northampton Town's Downs syndrome team played their first ever match against Swindon Town.
Both sets of players enjoyed the match experience and were well supported by all the parents. There was some excellent football played by both teams, with some fantastic goals scored followed by some wonderful celebrations.
A massive thank you goes to Community Officer Clive Maguire from Swindon Town for organising the match.
Coaching for the Downs syndrome players takes place at the Goals Centre on a Sunday morning from 1030am to 12noon. If you are interested in attending please email russell.lewis@ntfc.tv
