Striker recovering in hospital
Northampton Town striker Alex Nicholls has had a skin graft operation in hospital to repair his wound after suffering a broken fibula and tibia in Saturday's 2-0 win over Port Vale.
Nicholls originally underwent surgery on Saturday evening to have an intramedullary nail inserted into his tibia, and that operation was a success.
