WILSON MAKES POPPIES LOAN MOVE

23 November 2012

Lewis linking up with Kettering until the New Year

Northampton Town striker Lewis Wilson has joined Kettering Town on loan until January 2nd.

Cobblers boss Aidy Boothroyd has spoken of his wish for the promising Wilson to go out on loan to play some regular first team football as part of his development.

"We have been looking to get Lewis out on loan so we can get him some football," said the Northampton Town manager.

“I think he’s been really unfortunate in that because of the injuries we’ve had he’s played in every position apart from his own.

“When he did play up front last season he scored and he’s at a stage now where he needs to get some games in."
