Mascot promoting Movember game
On Friday, Clarence and co took a trip to Milton Keynes to visit Pudsey Bear in Costco to help raise money for the BBC Children In Need appeal, and to promote Movember, putting big smiles on the faces of staff and members.
“The partnership between Cobblers and Costco is very new, and not many people are aware of the support and utilities that Costco provide for the club," said Marketing Executive Ben Fulker. "Bringing Clarence down here today was a great way to let everyone know that we are working together, and the children loved Clarence's visit."
Ben and Sam Haase accompanied Clarence to Costco, to help promote a number of events at Sixfields, in particular the Movember Match on the 20th November; MOhampton vs MOcambe. Costco are wholesalers based around the UK, and the Milton Keynes branch have recently started working the cobblers on a number of projects, such as the Children In Need “Night at the Races”, being staged on Monday at 7pm in Carrs Bar, and the Christmas Arts and Crafts Market on 12th December.
