Cobblers boss on day 2 of Croatia trip

Aidy Boothroyd remains very happy with the progress of his squad after the second day of the pre-season training camp in Croatia.

"I am really pleased," he said.

"Things are going really well and all the lads are working hard. The first session of the day gets underway at 630am and we are using every minute we have with the players and these facilities wisely to get the maximum benefit.

"There is a good intensity to the work and the players are really at it. All we need to do is make sure we get the balance right between hard work and rest and I think we are doing that. Everyone is fine and making good progress.

"The lads are getting stronger with each session and things are going very well."
