Cobblers boss looking forward to Rams clash
Aidy Boothroyd is looking to forward to welcoming Championship side Derby County back to Sixfields on Tuesday night.
"Saturday against Chelsea was a very different challege to playing against Cogenhoe and Corby, " he said.
"Chelsea have got the best young players in the world and they recruit to try and get players into Chelsea’s first team.
"The disappointing thing for me on Saturday was that we conceded two goals from our own set plays, which is normally something that we are very very good at. That is what these games are for though, to play against teams that are going to give us problems. From that point of view it is disappointing, but it is something that we haven’t worked on yet, so that’s fine.
"I was really pleased that we were able to get more minutes into the players, and I am really pleased with Joe Widdowson and Chris Hackett and I think we have got two very good players there.
"We look forward to Derby on Tuesday night which will be a different test, where there will be a mixture of the blood and thunder of the Championship and also the guile and skill of the players that they have got."
