Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team were beaten 3-0 by Luton Town at Moulton College on Saturday morning in the Football League Youth Alliance.
“We were a bit sloppy in the first half and I was disappointed with the goals we conceded,” said under 18s coach Craig Hinton.
“We were a bit better in the second half but in the end we were beaten by a better and stronger side.”
* The youth team are next in action on Wednesday (12 Dec, kick-off 7.45pm) when they are due to take on Canvey Island at Sixfields in the third round of the FA Youth Cup.
