Northampton Town Football Club

The Northampton Town Football Club Youth prize draw took place on Monday after almost 1,000 tickets were sold! 

There were five prizes up for grabs, including a place in the 2012/2013 Northampton Town FC first team squad, an away day with the team, a meal and tickets for two at a home league game, a mascot package and ten pairs of tickets to a home league 2012/2013 fixture.  

Winner of the top prize, Eric Cooper, has kindly donated his prize to Ben White, a huge Cobblers fan and student at the Malcolm Arnold Academy. Eric said, “I am not, I have to say, the Cobblers number one fan. I have therefore nominated a local young guy I know - Ben White to have my prize. He is a die hard Cobblers fan, and I know he will love to meet the team. 

"Thank you  to NTFC for the competition, it’s important that we all support up and coming footballers of the future, and I am pleased that the money raised will be supporting NTFC youth development."

As well as winning his place in the first team squad for the upcoming season, Ben will also have his name on the back of every home league programme, sit on the bench at a pre-season game, have his picture taken with the squad and be presented with his very own Northampton Town shirt by manager Aidy Boothroyd. 

The money raised from the draw will contribute to developing the Academy at the club. This well help produce the future footballing stars, providing them with a top quality environment and first class facilities to help them on their way. The youth department are extremely grateful for the money raised and a big thank you must go out to everyone who purchased a ticket.
