Young keeper commits to Sixfields deal

Young Northampton Town goalkeeper Dean Snedker has signed his first professional contract to stay at Sixfields until at least June 2015.

17 year old Snedker, who has come through the club's youth system, made his first team debut in the Capital One Cup win over Cardiff City earlier this month.

Snedker is the latest in a line of homegrown keepers produced by the club to play first team football, following in the footsteps of Mark Bunn, who recently moved from Blackburn Rovers to Premier League side Norwich City, and Chris Dunn, who is with Coventry City.
