Great new matchday competition
We have a brand new matchday competition that will take place at selected home matches this season - SCORE WITH BEACON BINGO.
Three markers will be placed on the pitch between the goal and the half way line. The contestant has to get the ball in the goal without touching the floor or the goal line. If the ball goes in off the woodwork, the goal stands as long as it doesn’t bounce before or on the goal line. The ball must be kicked from a stationary position on the ground level with the selected marker.
Contestants get two chances from the first marker, which is worth £25 if they get the ball in. If they miss both, they walk away with nothing. If they Score with Beacon Bingo they can either keep the money or gamble at taking a kick from the next marker. This marker will be worth £250 and they get one chance. If they score and gamble then they get one chance at the final marker on the halfway line, which is worth £1,000.
Some of the Cobblers players have helped us test the competition and boss Aidy Boothroyd said, "I am sure this will provide a lot of excitement and entertainment for supporters. It should be a fun way for one lucky supporter to try and win some cash and we would like to thank Beacon Bingo for their support of this competition."
One contestant will be picked at random from the crowd to take part.
