Carlsberg UK has agreed a major pouring rights sponsorship deal
Northampton Town Football Club is delighted to announce that Carlsberg UK has agreed a major, six figure, 10 year pouring rights sponsorship deal at Sixfields.
The partnership will see Carlsberg UK retain the pouring rights for all events at the stadium for the next decade and Chairman David Cardoza is delighted with the support of the Northampton based brewery.
"This is a significant deal for the club and I would like to thank Carlsberg UK for their support," he said.
"Carlsberg UK are based in Northampton of course, and they are big supporters of the local community. With an ever increasing number of events taking place at Sixfields, including the launch of the Rebels Rugby League club, having a deal like this in place was very important to us."
Mark Wellings of Carlsberg UK who worked with the club to negotiate the deal said: "Carlsberg is synonymous with football – we've sponsored the England team since 1994 – so we are delighted that we are able to support our home town team. As one of the largest employers in the town, we're proud to be based here and we are delighted we're continuing the deal to make sure that Northampton-brewed beers are available at the club."
